What Can We Do ?

Our work involves the survey, design, construction and maintenance of all types of flues and chimneys, ranging from domestic to light commercial. We can carry out surveys at a number of levels depending on requirements, for instance everytime we are requested to examine or sweep through a flue in a domestic situation we will, on every occasion, issue a certificate, from which the householder, landlord or architect has an immediate point of reference. We can also carry out surveys prior to the costing of works by some of our major clients as well as providing an independent survey for arbitration purposes.

Apart from being able to design flue and chimney systems as requested we have direct contact with National Design and Fabrication Engineers. Not only are we experienced in working with traditional masonry chimneys and flue systems in a range which extends from brick built bungalows through Georgian townhouses to buildings many of years old where sheep would have roasted on the spit ! We are also fully conversant and continually updated by ongoing training in techniques and materials of the 21st Century. These include the relining of flues using a variety of methods depended on the intended usage and the extent of current damage, to the reconstruction of flues using stainless steel and block systems.
